The California Bluegrass Gospel Music Lyrics Association C B A is a California non-profit Corporation which was founded in 1975 in the Francisco Bay Area. The C B A is dedicated to the furtherance of Bluegrass music, old-time Bluegrass Gospel music tablature and Gospel Music in California. The Articles of Incorporation further state that the organization is formed to promote, encourage, foster, and cultivate the preservation, appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, support, and performance of American roots music traditional instrumental and vocal music of the United States.

The California Black Gospel music lyrics tablature Association has sponsored dozens of bluegrass festivals since its inception. The organization's main festival, held every Father's Day Weekend in June, is a four-day event at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, California. This festival annually features a line-up of national and regional acts in the bluegrass and old-time Bluegrass Gospel music and lyrics field. It is preceded by a four-day music camp. The C B A also sponsors events in Bakersfield, California Bakersfield, and Sebastopol, California Sebastopol.

Over the years I have heard many great gospel hymns from many different Christian music artists and lyrics. Growing up in a Christian home I am pleased to have heard the almighty Jesus Christ praised in song so many times. It always soothes the soul to hear a cleansing Bluegrass Gospel hymn. Jesus to make a joyful noise under him, well we out did us with Gospel music lyrics. Praise the lord! For he is King!
