interviewed the Christian rock group Barlow Girl, who are
nominated for 5 Dove Awards in 2006.
Barlow Girl, made up of three young sisters, has taken the
Christian music world by storm with hit singles like “Never
Alone” and “Let Go.” In 2005, the group was honoured with
four Dove Award nominations for New Artist of the Year,
Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song (“Never Alone”), Rock
Contemporary Christian Hymn and Album, and
Special Event Album (“Absolute Favourite Christmas”). In
2006, they received five nominations for: Group of the Year,
Rock Recorded Song of the Year (“Let Go”), Rock/Contemporary
Recorded Song of the Year (“Mirror”), Rock/Contemporary
Album of the Year (Another Journal Entry), and Special Event
Album of the Year (Wow Christmas Green). 2006 Dove Award
winners will be announced at the 37th G M A (Christian Music
Association) Awards on Wednesday, April 5, 2006.
