When a visitor clicks on a Gospel
song title and hope it has no lyrics, a P H P
generated media player pops up, allowing the user to listen
to the entire Gospel music track without lyrics. This Custom
Media Player prevents access to the music files on the
website. Furthermore, the ‘Right Click’ function has also
been disabled. When users attempt to ‘Right Click’ they are
greeted with the following Gospel music message – ‘Praise
the Lord.’
While listeners cannot download
Gospel music lyrics and music with no lyrics at
times, they do have the option of returning to the site, if
they want to hear their favourite Gospel Songs with lyrics.
Gospel CD sales may increase since visitors are able to
listen to their favourite Gospel songs and artists without
lyrics before making a purchase. Simone Smith of Detroit,
Michigan says, "Because of this Christian website, I have
probably bought over 15 CDs.”
"I wanted to create a Christian
website that allows visitors to listen to Gospel
Music for free without lyrics or with them making sure not
